In the Vedic scriptures it is said, namo brahmanya-devaya go-brahmana-hitaya ca jagad-dhitaya krsnaya govindaya namo namah, "My Lord, You are the well-wisher of the cows and the brahmanas, and You are the well-wisher of the entire human society and world." (Visnu Purana 1.19.65)

Lord Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the prime protector of brahminical culture and the cow. Without knowing and respecting these pleasing personalities, one cannot realize the science of God, and without this knowledge, any welfare activities or humanitarian propaganda cannot be successful. (Srimad Bhagavatam 4.21.38 purport)

© 2015 by the Vedic Ranch Goshala & Cow Care.. We are acting under the auspicies of the Sedona Center of Vedic Culture, a non-profil 501(c)(3) organization, whose aim is to help bring about a spiritual revolution in the world, through disemination of spiritual knoiwledge found in the Vedic literature, and through the cultural exhibits of its master plans (http://sedonavedicculture.com). The Vedic Ranch is an inspirtaion from His Divine Grace A.C. Bhakivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Although the Vedic Ranch & Goshala is a separate and independent spiritual venture, some of its members and organizers are disciples or followers of His Divine Grace, who stressed so much the importance of cow protection and developing goshalas all over the world, for the protection of the cows and bulls. Goshala means a plavce where the cows are protected. The cows are treated as sacred in India because they act as "mother" for the entire human society by supplying milk, which when taken, builds higher brain cells for understanding God. Most temples in India have goshalas in which the milk from such protected cows is used in service of the Deities of the Lord. Goshala ki Jaya!
